Empathetic Leadership

Hello My Friends,

This topic is very important to me. I have discovered that in the public schools, we need more empathetic leaders or what I like to call Moral Leadership. Too many leaders (leaders could be teachers too, or coaches , and/or curriculum coordinators) have a deficit mentality of teachers. There are too many toxic environments in the public schools in which there is favoritism, nepotism, corruption, and people playing politics. Teachers don’t feel respected or supported. I don’t think this happens only in the public school arena. Share your expertise with different types of leadership styles, and comment on what are your ideas about empathetic leadership. Be honest, and don’t be afraid to disagree or give a different perspective. Thank you.
